The Vulcan 1GR45M fryer is natural gas heated and has a 45- to 50-pound oil capacity in the 14-inch-by-14-inch tank. Two fryer baskets are included to fit in the tank, so multiple batches of product can be prepared at the same time. Millivolt controls adjust the temperature from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and a tank brush, crumb scoop, and clean-out rod are included with the unit to simplify cleaning. Staff can remove debris from the tank with the brush, and the scoop removes larger debris the brush cannot reach. Shortening can be carefully stirred out of the cold area with the clean-out rod so it can melt.
